All data is publicly available without password.
One of the reasons for the public-only mode is, that the OMS does not export the credentials from it.
https://mail.aegee.org/cgit/aegee-ldap/ describes a concept how to export user names and passwords from OMS and insert them in LDAP. Once implemented, members of each body can after authentication see the contact data of the other members of the same body.
Currently nobody works on exposing data from OMS to LDAP.
If the credential export from OMS happens, the CalDAV service might be offered after authentication.
