Events and tasks can have attachments, e.g. a picture.
Thunderbird supports as attachments only links to existing files in internet.
Evolution can only add attachments, by including the whole attached file in the events/task.
DAVx⁵ and the Android software Tasks.org ignore attachments.
The uploaded file may not exceed 300kb in size per event/task. This limit is for the whole iCalendar file, including all embedded attachments.
Generated emails include all attachments. https://central.aegee.org displays only the first image, other attachments are not rendered.
For events/tasks with attached image, the image is posted to Telegram if the description is shorter than 1025 characters. The Telegram integration is described at https://www.oms.aegee.org/wiki/index.php?title=Calendars#Telegram_Integration .
